City of Ocala Recreation and Parks

The Junior League of Ocala has a long-standing partnership with the City of Ocala Recreation and Parks. City parks provide a safe environment that promotes socialization and physical activity, motivation to explore, discover and informal learning through play. The Junior League of Ocala sponsored the Family Shelters at Tuscawilla Park and Scott Springs (both pictured below), donated playground equipment, benches, picnic tables and grills at Marimere Neighborhood Park Development and others. The Junior League of Ocala also sponsors 14 children to attend the Recreation and Parks summer camp.
